tagliatelle_pesto_chickenPesto is a quite recent thing for me, I think I had never heard of it until a couple of years ago. Nonetheless, it’s now one of my fallback foods, tasty and easy to use, it really helps making good food quickly!

You can simply use Pesto with pasta and it’s good, but I like customizing it a bit. This time it was with chicken breast, cubed and fried with lots of garlic!

As for the pasta, I keep on coming back to tagliatelle. It’s simply better! I don’t know why, but dishes with tagliatelle end up tastier than with other pastas…

Onto the recipe:

Recipe: Tagliatelle with pesto & chicken

Summary: Tagliatelle with pesto & chicken

Ingredients

  • 250g tagliatelle
  • 2 chicken breasts, cut in cubes
  • 3 garlic clovers, sliced
  • olive oil
  • 90g pesto

Instructions

  1. Heat up a frying pan with the olive oil
  2. Add the chicken cubes and the garlic
  3. Boil the pasta
  4. Keep on stirring the chicken until golden brown
  5. Strain the pasta
  6. Mix the pesto well with the tagliatelle until all of it has a nice green coating
  7. Distribute the pasta onto 3 plates, add the fried chicken on top
  8. Serve with some salad

Number of servings (yield): 3
